We like sports

Hallarna is a proud supporter of Halmstad's community organizations.

We believe that a vibrant community life is important and valuable. It engages a large number of people and helps give many children and young people a sense of purpose in their daily lives. That is why we have chosen to partner with HBK, Astrio, and Hammers.

BK Astriooffers activities ranging from soccer school to senior soccer, and at Söndrums IP, more than 700 active players train regularly under the guidance of about 100 coaches. Söndrums IP is the heart of the club and an environment characterized by a sense of community, a fighting spirit, and the joy of the game.

Hallarna and BK Astrio have signed a new partnership agreement, under which Hallarna will continue to be one of the club’s main partners. The agreement provides BK Astrio and Hallarna with continued opportunities to build on the sustainability initiative launched last year, through which we are working together toward a more sustainable Halmstad.

Halmstad Hammers HCis based at Halmstad Arena and engages children and youth from the hockey school all the way up to the senior team. The club currently has about 450 active players and about 900 members. The club works hard on its youth programs to foster good role models, with a focus on joy, community, and ethics and morals.

Halmstad Hammers HC aims to be a responsible member of the community and work to improve the lives of all its stakeholders!

– It’s incredibly exciting to be able to deepen the partnership between Halmstad Hammers HC and Hallarna. During the 2021–2022 season, we welcome Hallarna as a bronze partner of the club. We’ll strengthen our ties through clear and visible joint initiatives. The focus of this partnership is on creating opportunities for our active children and youth to play ice hockey, as well as raising awareness and contributing to increased revenue for the Children’s Cancer Foundation through the Hallarna Run, which is absolutely fantastic,” says Martin Andersson, sales representative at Halmstad Hammers HC.

HBK – Halmstads Bollklubbis a community-based club with over 500 players and 120 coaches. Their men’s and women’s first teams compete in the Allsvenskan and Division 1, respectively. Guided by their “blue thread” philosophy, they offer opportunities for development and training with a focus on soccer, which has also made them one of the top soccer academies in Sweden. In addition to encouraging children and young people to stay active in a healthy way every day, they are also actively involved in the community. Through the comprehensive CSR project #FRAMÅT, we are helping to make Halmstad a better place to live.

Overall objectives of the #FRAMÅT project:

“Through our core values of care, development, and inclusion—using soccer as a tool and the entire city of Halmstad as our arena—Halmstads BK will work #FORWARD toward a sustainable future. We will do this by increasing knowledge and understanding of the three pillars of sustainability, preventing loneliness, and promoting integration, gender equality, and mental health among young people every day.”
