Wayne’s Coffee was founded in 1994 and was Sweden’s first coffee shop chain. The company began with a vision to create a new, growing coffee shop culture inspired by the United States, while building on the Swedish tradition of the “fika.” From day one, there were lines on Kungsgatan in Stockholm, where the Nordic region’s first latte was served. Since then, Wayne’s Coffee has grown into an international chain with nearly 150 cafes in 8 countries.
